"Time will tell"

私たちが等しく与えられている時間。
何層にもレイヤーになり、
大きな波のように流れている。
時には風のように軽やかに舞い
またある時には海のようにうねりながら覆いかぶさる。
そして、あまたな訝しさを少しずつ落着させる。

Time is something we are all given equally. 
It flows in layers, like a big wave. 
Sometimes it dances lightly like the wind, 
and sometimes it swells 
like the sea and covers us. 
And it gradually settles 
the many doubts of this world.  

墨一色の濃淡を和紙に現したく、基本に返るような作品になりました。

I wanted to express the light and shade of ink on the Japanese paper, so the piece turned out to be a return to basics.
