『昨日よりも、さらに』

知人からキリンソウの株を分けてもらいました。強い植物のようで、見るたびに大きくなっています。日々大きくなる姿を見ていると、時計やカレンダーを見るよりも、時間の経過を実感することができる気がします。

A friend of mine shared a plant of Kirinso. It seems to be a strong plant and is growing every time I see it. Watching it grow every day makes me feel the passage of time more keenly than looking at a clock or calendar.

いづみ紙に銅版画を刷り、透明水彩で一部に手彩色を加えました。アクセントが欲しいなと思い2箇所に金箔を貼りました。最後に青色をシルクスクリーンで刷っています。軽やかなスケッチのような版画になればと思いながら制作しました。

First, copper prints were pronted on Izumi paper, then hand-colored with transparent watercolor. Next, I wanted to add accents, so applied gold leaf in two places. Finaly, I silk-screened the blue color. I creater this print with the hope that it would be like a light sketch.
