私が住む山形の空には、鳶や鷹などの猛禽類が飛び回っています。彼らが優雅に空を舞う姿には、思わず足を止めて見入ってしまいます。獲物を探しているのでしょうか。上空を旋回し、地上をじっと見下ろす姿をよく目にします。 彼らが生きる大空に、物理的な境界線はありません。人間が引いた地上の境界線など気に留めることなく、自由に飛び回っています。そんな彼らの姿に魅了されたことが、今回のテーマでの創作の始まりです。

In the skies over Yamagata, where I live, birds of prey such as black kites and hawks soar. I often find myself stopping in my tracks, captivated by their graceful flight. Perhaps they are searching for prey. I frequently see them circling high above, gazing intently at the ground below. In the vast sky they inhabit, there are no physical boundaries. They fly freely, paying no mind to the borders drawn by humans on the earth. My fascination with them is what inspired my creation for this theme.
