テーマ「境界」 以前から「知っている」と「知らない」の境目に関心があります。 何かを「知っている」と感じる時、その根拠は何でしょうか？ そんなことを考えながら今回は、把握しきれない世界の象徴として宇宙をモチーフにしました。

between “knowing” and “not knowing.” When we feel that we “know” something, what is the basis for that feeling? With these thoughts in mind, I chose the universe as my motif this time—as a symbol of a world we cannot fully comprehend.

制作について。エッチングで細い線の部分を作成してから、アクアチントをかけてグレーや黒の部分を作っています。紙に刷った後、透明水彩で色をのせました。紙はハーネミューレを使用しています。

About the creation process: I first create the fine lines using etching, then apply aquatint to create the gray and black areas. After printing onto the paper, I added color using transparent watercolors. I used Hahnemühle paper.
