TRAIL MAP: Wildflower Loop Trail
From the southern end of the Muir Trail, this trail leads west into the southern end of the Meadow Corridor. As it enters the corridor, it turns right/northwest, and leads to and loops around a mound in the middle of the corridor that has wildflowers growing on it.
At the north end of the loop, the Wildflower to Babcock House Connector leads up to the Babcock House.
If you continue walking north in the Meadow Corridor, there is no trail, but at the bottom of the hill, you will connect to the Woodlands Trail as it crosses the corridor. This is an easy walk in the winter when there is no ground cover.
POINT OF INTEREST. When starting down the loop trail, just before reaching the Meadow Corridor, if you look to the right/north, you will see the remains of an old fence. Just beyond the fence is the start of a deep ravine. This is the source for the Corridor Stream.
