North Point Baptist Church is located on University Parkway. Behind the church is a very large parking lot that slopes downhill to the Salemtowne perimeter fence line. At the bottom, left/south corner of the lot is a church activity building. Salemtowne's perimeter fence extends between Salemtowne and the church parking lot from the north end of Hunt Drive, along the entire east side of the meadow, behind the activity building, and then east up the hill beside the parking lot to University Boulevard. All the water from this parking lot flows down the hill into Salemtowne, causes lots of erosion in the woodlands, and washes trash down the woodland ravines and into Babcock Lake. This runoff is not because of anything the church has done wrong, it's just the lay of the land. The church has been there for decades, the runoff water only became a problem when the Trail Keepers built a trail in the area.
