PAL Remote Units
In an emergency, it's a true pal
PAL (Personal Alert Line) is a personal alert system provided to residents by Salemtowne. PAL subscribers carry an alert device that, when activated, alerts Salemtowne that you have an emergency and it reports your location. Solar-powered PAL remote units are located around the campus that the system uses to pinpoint your location.
Some remote units you may notice on your trail walks:
On the top of the Babcock Lake dam.
On the north side of the Meadow Loop, in front of the cedar trees.
On the south side of Babcock Drive at the western end of the guard rail, on the curve beside the Babcock Healthcare Center (photo below).
