Babcock Healthcare Center Access Point

This is the south trailhead of the Muir Trail. On Babcock Drive, just across from the upper entrance to the Rehabilitation Center parking lot, there is a 20 MPH speed limit sign (it’s easy to see when walking but apparently is invisible to drivers). At the sign, walk down the short, grassy hill and you will see the entrance to the Muir Trail with large rocks piled on both sides. There is a Trail Access Marker at the entrance.
