Trimester III

For Tuesday March 23, 2021

Please start researching your choice for the ongoing project this trimester.  If you are doing the city project, please research and write out a geographical description of the place you are going to place your colony. Please also write a paragraph and list explaining what you would need and want to bring with you to the new world.

If you are doing the fashion project, please research a designer of your choice...find out how their career started and how it was developed and successful.  See if you can figure out what their major design ideas were throughout their design careers and any other ideas that may help you with your project.

For Tuesday March 30, 2021:  If you are working in the Fashion Project, please collect pictures of fashion from 1750-1790 from France, England and Spain.  You also have to produce 2 sketches one of middle class clothing and one of upper class fashion from the 1750-1790 period.

If you are doing the City project:  You must continue to refine your research for your colony as discussed in class and produce a sketch of the initial outline of your colony.  Go to the National Archives to look at maps - look for early colonial maps for the state your colony is located.
