Podcast: "What Your Dreams Say About You"
Homework One (due 11/29/23):
On a lined piece of paper (not in your journal), write down one of your dreams. It can be a new dream or one you've had before and remember well. Include as much detail and imagery as you can recall.
This will be anonymously distributed for peer interpretation - DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR NAME.
Homework Two (due 12/4/23):
In your journal, write down a new dream. Keep your journal (and a pen) by your bed so that you can record it as soon as you wake up. Start from where you can remember and include as much detail and imagery as you can recall.
Follow the dream with an analysis - what do you think it means? Do this later, after you've had a chance to consider the dream. One paragraph minimum.
At the top, title your entry "Dream #1" and date it.

Homework Seven (due 1/22/24):
Knowing what you now know about the first three stages of Freud's Stages of Psychosexual Development (Oral, Anal, Phallic), what traits do YOU have that might be indicative of either a fixation or resolution of one of these stages?
What do you know about your own development (actual incidents) that may have influenced these traits? Ask your parents and write about it in your journal.
You will NOT be asked to share these in class. Only Phil will see them.
If you missed any recent classes and/or information regarding Freud's Psychoanalytic Theory and important terms, watch and take notes on the Khan Academy video below (up until 2:30).
