The basis of the project should be an analysis of how close your choice is to the original novel by Bram Stoker. The first thing that will be due is a proposal for your paper. It should include the title and production information and your thesis statement for the project. This is due Friday February 14, 2025

Write a detailed character analysis of Count Dracula. Include a discussion of what you think are his motivations...is he a creature or a human being...something "in between?" Do you think the Count is evil? Why or Why not?
Dr Van Helsing and Dr Seward represent the "knowledge" in this novel...one knowledgable about folk lore and superstition, the other with modern psychological trends....Discuss how they represent both the past and the present of Victorian England. How well do they represent the rapid changes that are happening in the world at the end of the 19th century when this novel was written. In the end, which "knowledge" helps the most in dealing with the Count.
