College Articles Testing (SAT, ACT)

Don't forget to check whether schools require Subject Tests if you're applying to more competitive schools. Note the study showing the effectiveness of just 20 hours of work on the Khan Academy SAT prep site. To get a sense of the ACT, go to www.petersons.com/college-search/free-act-practice-test.aspx for a free online ACT practice test. Do this and the PSAT to decide which will work better for you. The ACT is now providing free online test prep to match the SAT, but there is no evidence of its success rate as there is for Khan Academy and the SAT.
