There are no questions for this chapter but you are responsible

for reading and knowing the material.

Using your readings on both Stalin/USSR and Communist China, the documentary we

began in class on Tuesday and your keen sense of history, write an essay comparing and

contrasting Stalin and Mao Zedong. Discuss the way both of their communist governments

began and developed under their power. Also discuss their relationship and the relationship

between their countries as they face the post WWII world. See me for help or clarification.
