- 3 cups wheat or oat bran
- 2 cup buttermilk (1 cup regular milk mixed with 1 TBSP vinegar/cup)
- ⅔ cup Applesauce (or equal amount oil)
- 2 eggs
- 1⅓cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup raisins
