Tailor made for the Pineapple Cake but can be utilized anyplace you feel it will fit. This recipe was doubled from the original in order to accommodate a 9x13 cake
Ingredients
1⁄2 cup butter, softened
1 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
2 cup shredded coconut (sweetened is fine)
1⁄3 cup milk
2-3 drops vanilla extract
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients well.
Spread mixture over a slightly warm cake.
Set your oven to broil.
Place cake approximately 5 inches from the heat source and broil until topping bubbles and browns slightly.
