1 lb. boneless , skinless chicken (thigh is better than breast)
Salt/Pepper/ Garlic Powder
¼ cup corn starch
olive oil
3 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp. sliced green onions
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
3-4 cups stir fry vegetables
1⁄3 cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
Whisk together sauce ingredients and set aside.
Cut chicken into cubes, whatever is bite sized and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then toss with corn starch.
Add chicken to oiled and heated pan, fry for a few minutes.
Add minced garlic to frying pan and fry until chicken is mostly cooked.
Remove chicken from pan and set aside; add vegetables to pan and cook for several minutes.
Turn heat to medium and add sauce mixture to pan. Cook until sauce starts to thicken, should only be a moment or two.
Add chicken and vegetables back into pan with sauce and cook a couple minutes longer, make sure everything is well coated with sauce.
Serve on a bed of rice, sprinkle green onions and sesame seed overtop
