Horse Riding at Glasgow Park
Glasgow Park is a public reserve in Waimauku. It is home to the Waimauku Pony Club and also an off-leash dog exercise ground, and the local village hall sits in the area between the road and the reserve.
Trails and Terrain
Glasgow park is a few hectares on the side of a hill in Waimauku, plus a larger recreation reserve across the road from it. There is a flat area where the pony club have their arena (for hire, not free public use) and set up jumps etc.
Map and Directions
There is parking up a side street, Pollard Lane, on the Muriwai side of the Park. If you are coming from Waimauku, drive slowly from the Waimauku intersection, past Freshfields Road and ignore the signposted entrance to the pony club (Glasgow park).
