Often regarded as the powerhouse of the African continent with its diamonds, gold and rich resources, this South African's Republic's currency is essential to collect. This country has suffered through much conflict, including the Boer War & other civil strife.  In addition, notes were once issued in Pounds and then later transitioned to RANDS. Great designs (often with wild animal motifs) these are not easy to acquire in higher grades.
