While you may not be a big fan of the British monarchy, there is one thing you must grant them: all encompassing political stability and a long established Imperial history of colonization. As such, you will see Queen Elizabeth ("QEII" and her king predecessors) featured on many currencies across the globe. They're simply unavoidable. But more than that, they also represent a long history of granting independent nationhood. "Luv em or lump them," they'll be around for a while yet and represent a large chunk of global change.
