Philippines

Philippines:

This group of East Asian islands has deep connections with the U.S. since the Spanish handed the territory over after the Spanish-American war (1890's).  During World War II, U.S. troops liberated the Philippines from Japanese occupation & kept bases in various locations near Subic Bay. Their "Piso" banknotes also have very rich historical, cultural & natural designs or symbols of freedom. I bought the tough 2010 TWO HUNDRED Piso note (P-195c) with the last signature.  I also was lucky to acquire Choice UNC 20 Piso notes with the single letter ("C") prefix signed by Duterte-Tetangco! Less than 2% of Numista collectors have a P-206b from 2016 with the change-over signature (imagine how few would have a single letter prefix with a serial number below 1000!)

There are many tough surprises listed below all in beautiful UNC condition!  Ask me about some of my special serial numbers too!

If you see a note you wish to purchase then please contact notaphilyc@gmail.com Orders should be over $10 USD minimum. If you wish to place an order over $100.00 USD, I will gladly cover postage. CDN & World collectors please wait for a quote in CDN dollars (for SPOT exchange rate) & to discuss preferred method of payment.
