As you can probably see, I am a big fan of currency from the Bahamas. The major reason is their Commonwealth roots featuring QEII and the superb designs on the reverse. The Bahamas have always been a popular winter holiday destination for many North Americans and I have family who first introduced me to these colourful bills years ago. In addition to this, they're printed in limited quantities and maintain excellent BV. I have just added 2 tough versions to obtain below, the first newly designed Fifty Cents note from 1984 (2 horizontal SN's) and the last of the old portrait P-70, printed in 2002. The odd thing about P-70 is that they use the early (young) portrait after the older style portrait & Vertical serial numbering was introduced in 1996 (P-51 to P-57).
