June 3-7

Hello Parents and Students,

Thank you to everyone that was able to come to Open House. I am unbelievably proud of these students. They have grown and learned so much this year. You are amazing 3rd graders! 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wax Museum: All wax museum speeches must be memorized by June 4th. We will be presenting them in class that day as practice. Also, students should be gathering items for their costume to prepare for their presentation. The final performance will be on Tuesday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend!

Permission Slip: On Monday you will find a permission slip sent home in your child's Weekly Folder. Please sign and return the PG movie permission slip by this Friday, June 7th.

House System: Congratulations to Altruismo for winning the most points last week! Remember to wear your house shirt on Thursday! 

OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE

Math: We will review math concepts learned throughout the year. Students do not have homework in their Apply books, but should still be practicing multiplication facts.

Reader's Workshop: This week students will continue working on their end of the school year memory books.  We will also begin reading the book Badger Claws of Ojai.  This story is about a young Chumash boy growing up in the area of what is now Ojai. 

Writer's Workshop: This week, students will write a bio-poem about themselves. 

P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday and WEDNESDAY for P.E this week.
