CAASPP Testing Practice: Below are step-by-step instructions if you would like to take CAASPP practice tests at home:
Go to caaspp.org
Click on the green button that says "practice and training tests"
Click the green box that says "student interface practice and training tests"
Click the green "sign in" button (no user or session ID required)
Select 3rd grade from the drop-down menu
Students can take any of the SMARTER BALANCED PRACTICE TESTS
OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: We will start in our Module 6 books this week. This module focuses on time, data and graphing. We will also be reviewing math concepts that we have learned throughout the year in preparation of CAASPP testing.
At this point, students should have all multiplication facts x0-x12 memorized. Once students master their multiplication facts, they will move on to their related 0-12 division fluency.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will be continue to review concepts that we have learned throughout the year. Some key concepts we are reviewing include finding the main idea of a text, sequencing events in a story and comparing and contrasting.
Writer's Workshop: This week, we will continue our informational report project on biomes. Students will be researching and gathering information from credible sources. They will create a biome poster and triarama to go with it.
P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday and WEDNESDAY for P.E every week.
