Hello Parents and Students,
Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your break. Thank you to everyone who brought in Valentine's to share with the class before break. The class had a great time exchanging valentines together. Thank you for my gifts as well. I felt very loved! ❤️
OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE
Math: The goal for this point forward is to master all multiplication facts x0-x12. We will continue with lessons 13-15 in Module 4 this week.
Reader's Workshop: This week, we will begin our unit on Harriet Tubman as a celebration of Black History Month. As a class, we will read a book on EPIC about her amazing life and practice taking notes.
Writer's Workshop: Students will be writing an informational paragraph based on their notes from our Harriet Tubman reading.
Social Studies: This week students will be working on week 8 which focuses on map skills. Students will learn more about oceans, continents, the coordinate grid system, and latitude & longitude.
P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday for P.E. every week.
