Problem Solving Activity

Instructions:

Read the following:

You're at work and you hear your flight chief shouting at the workstation's printer. You approach them and ask, “What’s the problem?” They say, “This stupid, piece of shoe printer. It runs out of toner and/or ink every 2-3 weeks. Why?!” You start to think about it and agree the printer does seem to run out of ink very quickly…more quickly than any other printer at your previous workstations. Your flight chief states, “I want you to fix this. Our work center needs a printer where its cartridges last longer than a few weeks.”

1. Your task is to come up with a solution to solve this problem.
2. Write down each step you would take to solve the printer problem.
3. Explain the solution you would implement.
