Injects
Intent: Because we all know that nothing goes according to plan the first time, you will now be presented a series of injects/changes affecting your situation. You will be required to resolve the issue or adapt your planning efforts. Once you receive an inject, you are then required to revise their original OPORD using an addendum, more commonly referred to as a Fragmentary Order (FRAGORD). Students will use the OPORD template to develop the addendum.
A Fragmentary Order, or FRAGORD, is a modification to any previously issued order. It is issued to change an existing order or to execute a branch or sequel of an existing OPORD. It provides brief and specific directions that address only those parts of the original order that have changed (Joint Pub 5, pg I-18).
Instructions:
Draw an event card representing an inject.
You must then solve/address the issue.
Utilize the OPORD
template to create an addendum (FRAGORD) documenting what the inject was and how it was solved/addressed.
This process will be repeated for a total of three injects, requiring three separate addendum documents.
