Lesson Intent:
This lesson provides the students with an introduction to joint operations planning and the key aspects of the joint planning process for air. Students should be able to understand how the joint planning process is the problem-solving process used by Air Force strategic leaders to determine how to counter a specific threat or respond to a given crisis. Additionally, students should be able to identify how the joint planning process influences the operations at their units.
This lesson is derived from the requirements for Foundations of Joint Operations found in CJCSI 1805.01C, Enlisted Professional Military Education Policy and the Training Joint, All-Domain Airmen for the Future Fight OPORD issued by HAF/A3.
