Followership

 By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

• Describe Robert E. Kelley's "exemplary followership" characteristics

• Recognize challenges of followership

• Identify strategies to develop effective followership

Lesson Intent: Gain a deeper understanding of followership and to identify associated characteristics and methods that can be used to strengthen followership in themselves and their subordinates. This lesson should emphasize the importance of effective followership as it enhances leadership, management, and building cohesive teams.
