The Quran Chapter 52 The Mountain (Al-Toor, At-Tur, Tuur, Mount Sinai, The Mount) in English.
Chapter : Verse.
(Information in brackets is added to assist readers in the interpretation of the verse).
Quran 52:0 Koran 52:0 Verse 52:0 Ayah 52:0 Ayat 52:0 Aya 52:0 In the name of Allah, The Most Kind, The Most Merciful.
Quran 52:1 Koran 52:1 Verse 52:1 Ayah 52:1 Ayat 52:1 Aya 52:1 (I Allah swear to the truth) by the Mount (mountain at Mount Sinai which represents Prophet Moses Musa in Quran 26:1, Quran 27:1, Quran 28:1, Quran 36:1, Quran 42:2 and Quran 95:2 and is the place where Allah revealed the Torah Taurat to Prophet Moses Musa) –
Quran 52:2 Koran 52:2 Verse 52:2 Ayah 52:2 Ayat 52:2 Aya 52:2 And (I Allah swear to the truth) by a written Book (which is the Torah Taurat that is) –
Quran 52:3 Koran 52:3 Verse 52:3 Ayah 52:3 Ayat 52:3 Aya 52:3 in an unrolled parchment (which is the Torah Taurat in a rolled parchment that is unrolled when it is read) –
Comment 1. The Torah Taurat is in a rolled parchment that is unrolled when it is read.
The Torah Taurat is the book written on parchment that is still unrolled today when it is read in every Jewish synagogue.
Quran 52:1 which is before Quran 52:2 – 52:3 relates to Allah revealing the Torah Taurat.
The book in Quran 52:2 is identified in Quran 52:3 as the Torah Taurat which is written on parchment and is closed by rolling up the parchment and opened by unrolling the parchment to read it.
Comment 2. Allah swears by the Torah Taurat because it is the word of Allah.
Comment 3. The Books of Allah.
Stories claiming the Torah Taurat is corrupted contradict all the teachings in the Quran telling us that the Jewish people have the Torah and telling us that the Torah is from Allah and telling us that no one can change the word of Allah because that is the proof that Allah is real for every human until the Day of Judgement.
The Jewish people judge scripture as true if it confirms the Torah Taurat.
Many Muslims say the Quran does not agree with the Torah Taurat and therefore to a Jew it means the Quran cannot be from Allah.
If Muslims said the Quran confirms the Torah Taurat it would mean the Quran is from Allah but this is not what many Muslims are telling the Jewish people today.
1400 years ago Prophet Muhammad said the Quran confirms the Torah Taurat meaning confirms the Torah Taurat is correct as proof the Quran is from Allah but this is not the message many Muslims say to Jewish people today.
Rabbi Tovia Singer has studied the Torah Taurat and Gospel Injil and Quran and explains that the Jews have the scripture and therefore whenever anyone claims they also have the scripture the Jewish person compares their scripture to all other scriptures and if another scripture agrees with the Jewish scripture the Jew will applaud it in other words Jews are not asking if someone is or is not a prophet but a Jew asks do scriptures like the Gospel and the Quran which both say they confirm the Torah Taurat agree or disagree with the Jewish scripture.
When a Jew reads in the Quran that Allah is only one the Jew applauds it meaning it agrees with the Torah.
When a Jew reads some Christian opinions that Allah is a Trinity the Jew does not applaud it meaning it disagrees with the Torah Taurat.

Comment 4. Evidence for the truth is the Quran confirming the Torah Taurat is correct.
Quran 3:93 Ayah 3:93 “… Say (Prophet Muhammad, to the Jews of Yathrib), "Bring the Torah Taurat here and recite it (to me as evidence) if what you say is true."
Note 1. The proof of truth according to the Quran is the Torah Taurat meaning no one changed the Torah Taurat.
Note 2. The Quran confirms the Torah Taurat is with the Jewish people and the Quran confirms no one can change the word of Allah.
Note 3. Allah tells the Jews to recite the Torah Taurat meaning the Jews have the Torah Taurat and no one changed it.
Note 4. If anyone can prove the Torah Taurat was changed then they have found the proof that Allah does not exist.
Note 5. Allah says the proof of truth is the Quran confirming what is with the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat meaning there are no contradictions between the Quran which is with the Muslim people and the Torah Taurat which is with the Jewish people.
Quran 2:41 Ayah 2:41 And believe in what I (Allah) have revealed (in the Quran) confirming that which is with you (the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat as proof to the stone idol worshipers of Makkah in Quran 6:114, Quran 46:10 and Quran 10:94 that the Quran is not an invented story) ..."
Note 1. The Quran confirms the Torah Taurat which is with the Jewish people forever.
Quran 4:136 Ayah 4:136 “... and whoever has no faith in … His (Allah’s) Books, … then he has strayed far away (from Allah).
Comment 5. The Quran confirms the Torah Taurat and explains the story of Jesus in the Gospel Injil.
A. Prophet Muhammad in the Torah Taurat and Gospel Injil.
See Quran 7:157 comments in Quran chapter 7.
B. Every prophet of God is “the Word of God made flesh” meaning the word of God comes out of the mouth of every prophet of God in Deuteronomy 18:18.

C. How did Allah save Jesus.

Quran 52:4 Koran 52:4 Verse 52:4 Ayah 52:4 Ayat 52:4 Aya 52:4 And (I Allah swear to the truth) by the frequently visited house (the Kabah in Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia) –
Comment 1. Quran 52:4 is not about anything outside this Earth.
Quran 52:1 – 52:6 are all about things the people of Makkah can see with their eyes on this Earth.
Quran 52:1 – 52:6 are similar to Quran 95:1 – 95:3

Quran 95:3 Verse 95:3 And (I Allah swear to the truth by) this town (Mecca Arabia today Makkah Saudi Arabia where the Quran was revealed to humans through Prophet Muhammad and) that is made secure (that) –
Quran 52:5 Koran 52:5 Verse 52:5 Ayah 52:5 Ayat 52:5 Aya 52:5 And (I Allah swear to the truth) by the roof (of Earth, the sky) raised high (above you by Allah who separated the earth from the heavens with the sky in Quran 21:30) –
Quran 52:6 Koran 52:6 Verse 52:6 Ayah 52:6 Ayat 52:6 Aya 52:6 And (I Allah swear to the truth) by the sea that is full (the Ocean) –
Quran 52:7 Koran 52:7 Verse 52:7 Ayah 52:7 Ayat 52:7 Aya 52:7 That the punishment of your Lord (Allah) shall certainly come (to the wrong doers).

Quran 52:9 Koran 52:9 Verse 52:9 Ayah 52:9 Ayat 52:9 Aya 52:9 On the Day (the End of the Earth and the End of the first creation) when the heaven shall shake with a (tremendous) shaking,
Quran 52:10 Koran 52:10 Verse 52:10 Ayah 52:10 Ayat 52:10 Aya 52:10 And the mountains shall pass away (into dust).
Quran 52:11 Koran 52:11 Verse 52:11 Ayah 52:11 Ayat 52:11 Aya 52:11 Misfortune shall come on that Day (of Resurrection and Judgement) to those who rejected (Allah) -
Quran 52:12 Koran 52:12 Verse 52:12 Ayah 52:12 Ayat 52:12 Aya 52:12 In useless conversation amusing themselves.
Quran 52:13 Koran 52:13 Verse 52:13 Ayah 52:13 Ayat 52:13 Aya 52:13 On the Day (of Judgement when) they shall be thrust into the fire of Hell Jahannam (the angels shall say),

Quran 52:15 Koran 52:15 Verse 52:15 Ayah 52:15 Ayat 52:15 Aya 52:15 “Is this (what you see now in the Hereafter something that is) magic (deception, fake) or do you not see (it)?”
Quran 52:16 Koran 52:16 Verse 52:16 Ayah 52:16 Ayat 52:16 Aya 52:16 Verse 52:16 (Enter Hell Jahannam now and) burn in there and whether you are patient or impatient it shall make no difference for you (in the hereafter like patience could have helped you in your first life on the Earth) because (now) you are being paid (by Allah) for what (wrong doing) you used to do (in your first life on the Earth).
Quran 52:17 Koran 52:17 Verse 52:17 Ayah 52:17 Ayat 52:17 Aya 52:17 The righteous shall live in Gardens and happiness (in Paradise Jannah).

Comment 1. Belief in Allah without good deeds is a false belief in Allah.
Satan Shaitan believes in Allah but it is a false belief because Satan Shaitan does not do good deeds.
Quran 6:158 Verse 6:158 "... belief in it (Allah and the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) shall not help any soul …. if in belief (he or she) did not earn good (by doing righteous deeds in their life). ....”
Quran 41:8 Verse 41:8 “For those who believe and do good deeds, for them is an everlasting reward (in Paradise Jannah).”
Quran 52:20 Koran 52:20 Verse 52:20 Ayah 52:20 Ayat 52:20 Aya 52:20 Reclining on couches next to each other. We (Allah) shall marry them to fair ones (the resurrected women in Quran 56:35-Quran 56:38) with (lovely) large eyes.

Quran 52:28 Koran 52:28 Verse 52:28 Ayah 52:28 Ayat 52:28 Aya 52:28 Before (during our first life) we used to pray to Him (Allah). He (Allah) is truly the Most Kind and the Most Merciful.
Quran 52:29 Koran 52:29 Verse 52:29 Ayah 52:29 Ayat 52:29 Aya 52:29 So (Prophet Muhammad) remind (people of Allah). By the favour of Allah you (Prophet Muhammad) are not a fortune teller or a mad man.
Comment 1. What should Muslims do when Allah is insulted?
What should Muslims do when Prophet Muhammad is insulted?
What should Muslims do when the Quran is insulted?
How does Allah test Muslims when Allah is insulted?
How does Allah test Muslims when Prophet Muhammad is insulted?
How does Allah test Muslims when the Quran is insulted?
Quran 50:39 Verse 50:39 (Prophet Muhammad) be patient with whatever they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) say and exalt (Allah) by praising your Lord (Allah) before sunrise (the Fajr prayer) and before sunset (the Zuhr and Asr prayers).
Hurtful words are a test of patience from Allah which every Muslim will certainly hear (Quran 3:186).
Video: When they insult our prophet

Quran 52:30 Koran 52:30 Verse 52:30 Ayah 52:30 Ayat 52:30 Aya 52:30 Or do they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) say, "(Prophet Muhammad is) a poet. We wait for him (to prove to us his promise of) some calamity that shall come (to us)."
Quran 52:31 Koran 52:31 Verse 52:31 Ayah 52:31 Ayat 52:31 Aya 52:31 Say (Prophet Muhammad), “Wait, I am also waiting with you (for Allah’s judgement).”
Quran 52:32 Koran 52:32 Verse 52:32 Ayah 52:32 Ayat 52:32 Aya 52:32 Do they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) say this (that Prophet Muhammad is a poet or a mad man or a fortune teller) because of a command from their minds or are they a people disobedient (to Allah)?
Quran 52:33 Koran 52:33 Verse 52:33 Ayah 52:33 Ayat 52:33 Aya 52:33 Or do they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) say, “He (Prophet Muhammad) has invented it (the Quran)? (What they are really saying is that) they do not believe (in Allah).”
Quran 52:34 Koran 52:34 Verse 52:34 Ayah 52:34 Ayat 52:34 Aya 52:34 Then let them (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) produce something like it (The Quran) if they are truthful (in their belief in stone idols by asking their stone idols to help them to create something like the Quran).
Quran 52:35 Koran 52:35 Verse 52:35 Ayah 52:35 Ayat 52:35 Aya 52:35 Or were they (the stone idols in Makkah) created by nothing? (No, man made them from stone) Or are they (the stone idols in Makkah) the creators (of themselves? No, man made them from stone).
Quran 52:36 Koran 52:36 Verse 52:36 Ayah 52:36 Ayat 52:36 Aya 52:36 Or did they (the stone idols in Makkah) create the heavens and the earth? They (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) are not certain.
Quran 52:37 Koran 52:37 Verse 52:37 Ayah 52:37 Ayat 52:37 Aya 52:37 Or are the provisions (that come) from your Lord (Allah) with them (the stone idols that you worship in Makkah) or are they (the stone idols in Makkah) the controller (of anything)?
Quran 52:38 Koran 52:38 Verse 52:38 Ayah 52:38 Ayat 52:38 Aya 52:38 Or do they (the stone idols in Makkah) have any stairway (to access heaven) by which they can hear (the decrees from Allah). Then let their (the stone idols in Makkah) listening produce some clear authority (from Allah).
Quran 52:39 Koran 52:39 Verse 52:39 Ayah 52:39 Ayat 52:39 Aya 52:39 Or does He (Allah prefer to have) daughters (as you say) while you (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah prefer to) have sons? (Why do you prefer something different to what you say Allah prefers?)
Quran 52:40 Koran 52:40 Verse 52:40 Ayah 52:40 Ayat 52:40 Aya 52:40 Or do you (Prophet Muhammad) ask them (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) for payment so that they are burdened with debt? (No, you ask them for no reward).
Quran 52:41 Koran 52:41 Verse 52:41 Ayah 52:41 Ayat 52:41 Aya 52:41 Or have they (the stone idols in Makkah) the (knowledge of the) unseen (the future and the unknown) so that they (the stone idols or the stone idol worshippers) write it down? (No the stone idols have no knowledge that the stone idol worshippers can write about and the stone idols have no power to write anything).
Quran 52:42 Koran 52:42 Verse 52:42 Ayah 52:42 Ayat 52:42 Aya 52:42 Or do they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) intend to plan (against you Prophet Muhammad)? Those who reject Allah are themselves subject to a plan (by Allah).
Quran 52:43 Koran 52:43 Verse 52:43 Ayah 52:43 Ayat 52:43 Aya 52:43 Or have they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) any god other than Allah (who is the only creator and therefore the only one with the power to hear prayer)? Allah is exalted above whatever they (mistakenly) associate with Him (Allah when they worship stone statues instead of Allah).
Quran 52:44 Koran 52:44 Verse 52:44 Ayah 52:44 Ayat 52:44 Aya 52:44 Even if (a miracle was shown to them where) they were to see a part of the sky coming down (towards them as a sign of Allah who separated the earth from the heavens with the sky in Quran 21:30 whereby in Quran 22:65 it is only by the permission of Allah that the sky can fall down on the earth), they (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) would say, “(It is only) a mass of clouds.”
Quran 52:45 Koran 52:45 Verse 52:45 Ayah 52:45 Ayat 52:45 Aya 52:45 So leave them (the stone idol worshippers in Makkah) until they meet their Day (of Judgement) when they shall be stricken (with fear when they see the hereafter which they had not believed was real).
Quran 52:46 Koran 52:46 Verse 52:46 Ayah 52:46 Ayat 52:46 Aya 52:46 (It shall be) a Day (of Judgement) in which their planning (against Allah and Allah’s messenger) shall not benefit them (in the hereafter), nor shall they be helped (by anyone including their stone idols).
Quran 52:47 Koran 52:47 Verse 52:47 Ayah 52:47 Ayat 52:47 Aya 52:47 For those who do wrong, there is a punishment before that (Day of Resurrection and Judgement which is the punishment in this life). But most of them (the wrong doers) do not know (they may be punished in this life and in the hereafter).
Comment 1. Punishment in the world and in the hereafter.
See Quran 40:46 comments in Quran chapter 40.
Comment 2. The punishments of Allah in this life.
Comment 3. Allah’s punishment to the Pharaoh Firon, Haman, Korah Qarun and Hitler in this life.
In Quran 52:47 Allah reveals that there are punishments in this life for those who do evil in this life.
Doing great evil leads to the destruction of the evil doer and has consequences for their family and their followers.
Comment 4. How did Allah punish the Pharaoh Firon?
The Pharaoh Firon and his army tried to unjustly destroy the Children of Israel (the Hebrews, the Jews).
The Pharaoh Firon was the King of Egypt in the time of Prophet Moses Musa around 1847 – 1842 BH 1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC.
Pharaoh’s Firon’s hatred for the Jews started when one Jew named Prophet Moses Musa refused to bow down to the will of Pharaoh Firon because Prophet Moses Musa only bowed down in prayer to Allah.
Quran 43:55 Verse 43:55 So, when they angered Us (Allah), We (Allah) punished them (the Pharaoh Firon and his army) and drowned every one of them (in the Red Sea when they were chasing after the children of Israel whom they had agreed to free but instead they again broke their word).
Comment 5. How did Allah punish Haman?
Haman planed to use the army to unjustly destroy the Children of Israel (the Hebrews, the Jews).
Haman was the Prime Minister of the Persian – Median Empire around 1026 BH 404 BCE, 404 BC.
Haman’s hatred for the Jews started when one Jew named Mordecai refused to bow down to Haman because Mordecai only bowed down in prayer to Allah.
Haman’s hatred for one Jew led Haman to plan the complete destruction of all Jewish men, woman and children throughout the Persian – Median empire.
Tanakh Jewish scripture Esther 8:7 Then the King Ahasuerus (King of the Persian – Median Empire, Persia – Media empire today Iran) said to Esther the Queen and to Mordecai the Jew, “I have given Esther the house of Haman (who was the Prime Minister of Persia), and him (Haman) they (the servants of the King) have hanged on the gallows (scaffold) because he (Haman tried to) put his hands on the Jews (by planning to destroy all the Jews in the Persian empire).”
Esther 9:14 And the King (Ahasuerus, King of the Persian – Median Empire, Persia – Media empire today Iran) commanded it to be so done and a decree was given out in Shushan (Susa, Persia today called Shush in Iran) and they (the servants of the King) hanged Haman’s ten sons.
Comment 6. The Pharaoh Firon in the time of Prophet Moses Musa cut big blocks of stone to built the pyramid in Egypt and this was well known 1400 years ago and today so what is the meaning of "light a fire for me O Haman to make clay bricks to build a tower" mean in Quran 28:38?
The Pharaoh Firon of ancient Egypt handed the fire of disbelief in Allah to Haman, the Prime Minister of Persian – Median empire.
Quran 28:38 Verse 28:38 Pharaoh Firon (the king of Egypt around 1847 – 1842 BH, 1225 BCE – 1220 BCE, 1225 BC – 1220 BC cut stone blocks to make pyramids) said, "O Chiefs, I do not know of any Allah for you but myself so, light for me O Haman (representing the Prime Minister to King Ahasuerus in Persia today Iran who came after the time of the Pharaoh Firon around 1026 BH, 404 BCE, 404 BC, “a fire of disbelief in Allah”) on the clay (baked bricks in the furnace) and make for me a high tower (representing the tower of Babel, the tower of Babylon which was built by the people in Babylon today in Iraq in 2612 BH 1990 BCE 1990 BC before the time of the Pharaoh Firon) so that I can have a look at the Allah of Prophet Moses Musa but I think he (Prophet Moses Musa) is lying (like the people in Babylon believed Allah was a lie before the time of the Pharaoh Firon and like Haman believed Allah was a lie after the time of the Pharaoh Firon because the people in Babylon and Haman did not believe that anyone was greater than themselves. The people of the clay bricked tower of Babylon today in Iraq and the Pharaoh Firon in Egypt and Haman in Persia today in Iran are brought together to show how disbelief is passed and strengthen from generation to generation)."
Quran 28:41 Verse 28:41 And we made them (the Pharaoh Firon and Haman) leaders (who were followed by later tyrants) inviting (people) to the Fire (of punishment in the Hereafter) and on the Day of Resurrection they shall find no help.
Comment 7. How did Allah punish Korah Qarun?
Korah Qarun was among the Children of Israel at the time of Prophet Moses Musa at Mount Sinai Horeb.
Quran 28:78 Verse 28:78 He (Korah Qarun) said, “I have been given it (wealth) because of the knowledge that I possess.” Did he (Korah Qarun) not know that Allah had destroyed men in the generations before him who were greater than him in power and wealth? The guilty are not questioned about their sins (because the weight of those sins is so great that there is no need to be questioned about each individual sin).
Quran 28:79 Verse 28:79 He (Korah Qarun) then went out to his people in his splendor and those who desired the life of the world (more than the life of the Hereafter) said, “We wish we had similar to what Korah Qarun has been given (in wealth) because he has a great fortune.”
Quran 28:80 Verse 28:80 But those who had been granted (true) knowledge said, “Sadness shall be on you (if you do not know that) the reward from Allah is better for the person who believes (in Allah, the creator) and does what is right and only those who are patient shall obtain it (the reward of Paradise Jannah).”
Quran 28:81 Verse 28:81 So We (Allah) caused the earth to swallow him (Korah Qarun) and his home and then he had no one to help him other than Allah nor was he one of those who could defend themselves (from the punishment of Allah).
Quran 28:82 Verse 28:82 And those who had yesterday desired to be in his (Korah’s Qarun’s) position, said in the morning, “Allah enlarges and restricts the provision for whom He (Allah) wills of His (Allah’s) servants. If Allah had not been gracious to us He (Allah) would have caused it (the earth) to swallow us (as well). Disbelievers do not succeed.”
Comment 8. How did Allah punish Hitler?
Hitler used his army to try to unjustly destroy the Jews.
Hilter was the leader of Germany during World War Two from 1358 – 1364 AH 1939 – 1945.
Hitler’s hatred for the Jews led to a plan to completely destroy all the Jewish men, woman and children during world war two.
However in 1364 AH 1945 Hitler committed suicide by killing himself. His wife also killed herself.
Comment 9. Quran 28.6 and Quran 28:38 is revealed in a similar way to Quran 29:39 and Quran 40:24 where 4 people are brought together to compare the arrogance of three of them Korah Qarun, Pharaoh Firon and Haman to Prophet Moses Musa who is the only one that is righteous among them.
In the lesson that Allah is teaching about arrogant people it is not necessary for all four people to be in one event or in one historical time for us to be able to understand its meaning.
In the Torah Taurat the first to die is the Pharaoh Firon in the Red Sea, later Korah Qarun is swallowed by the earth in the Sinai Peninsula and later still Haman is hanged on the gallows in Persia today Iran.
Those who have read all of Allah’s Books know that these 3 famous people lived at different times and in different locations.
The Pharaoh Firon, Korah Qarun and Haman believed they could do whatever they wanted to do.
The Pharaoh Firon, Korah Qarun and Haman represent the passing of arrogance from generation to generation.
This shows how wisdom and knowledge come if Allah wills from study of the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil with the Quran.
Quran 29:39 Verse 29:39 And Prophet Moses Musa came to Korah Qarun (in the Sinai Peninsula after the death of the Pharaoh Firon and to), Pharaoh Firon (in Egypt in 1847 – 1842 BH 1225 BCE – 1220 BCE 1225 BC – 1220 BC) and Haman (in Persia in 1026 BH 404 BCE 404 BC) with clear signs (of the existence of Allah which was shown to them by the children of Israel who followed the Torah Taurat of Moses Musa) but they (the Pharaoh Firon and Korah Qarun and Haman) were boastful in the land. And they (the Pharaoh Firon and Korah Qarun and Haman) could not escape (the punishment of Allah).
Quran 40:23 Verse 40:23 And We (Allah) sent Prophet Moses Musa with Our (Allah’s) revelations and a clear authority.
Quran 40:24 Verse 40:24 To Pharaoh Firon (the King of Egypt in 1847 – 1842 BH 1225 BCE – 1220 BCE 1225 BC – 1220 BC) and Haman (the Prime Minister of Persia in 1026 BH 404 BCE 404 BC through Mordecai who showed Haman the teachings of Prophet Moses Musa) and Korah Qarun (of the children of Israel in the Sinai Peninsula after the death of the Pharaoh Firon), but they (the Pharaoh Firon, Korah Qarun and Haman) said, “A (person who says that Allah is more important than us is a) fraud (a deceiver), a liar.”
