Shapes in Nature:

Fishy Friends

Take a look at some of these beautiful fish. What shapes do you see?

Shapes can be found all around us in nature. Today we are going to explore how to create fabulous fish using model magic and simple shapes.

Step 1: Let's make a fish! Open one package of model magic and split it in half.

Step2: Color half of your model magic. Place the other half aside for later.

Step 3: Form a triangle. This is going to be the fish body.

Step 4: Now take the unused half of your model magic. Split this in half. Color one of them.

Step 5: Form a second triangle with your model magic and attach it to one side of the body. This is the tail.

Step 6: Let's add details! Divide and color your remaining model magic. This will be the fins and details of the fish body.

Step 7: Add details such as stripes or spots first.

Step 8: Add your fins and a small circle for an eye.

Step 9: Add an eye for your fish to see!
