1st Grade

Schedule 2025-2026 - Teachers will lead all sessions with students, and parent grade leader and art chairs will provide supplies Monday before the week session. This grade's goal is to cover LINE well as we work through the elements of art sessions.

•  Friday 9/12 - Lines - Element of Art - Line monsters and scenes 

• Friday 10/14 - Claude Monet - Oil pastels - Art To Remember - Impression Sunrise

• Friday 11/21 - Ceramics - Shell Model Magic

• Friday 1/23 - Snow Hat Lines - Exploring lines and shape patterns 

• Friday 2/20 - Cave Art and Hand Print -  Oil Pastels (natural colors)

• Friday 3/20 - Shapes at Night! 

• Dates TBD - Wayne Thiebaud - Ice cream, Cake Stencils, Gumballs with air dry clay.

• Dates TBD - Piet Mondrian - Primary color and line study (won't send home)
