Wayne Thiebaud

Wayne Thiebaud /weɪn tiboʊ/ WAYN TEE-boh (born November 15, 1920) is an American painter widely known for his colorful works depicting commonplace objects (especially food) such as pies, candy, ice cream cones, pastries, and hot dogs. Thiebaud is associated with the pop art movement executed during the fifties and sixties, slightly predating the works of the classic pop artists.

Today we are going to make Thiebaud inspired art out of model magic clay!

Each Student gets 1 white packet and needs to separate it into pieces for different colors and details.

Remember how to color the clay? You marker it, fold it like a taco and smoosh it and "knead it". DO NOT DRAW ON DETAILS WITH MARKER!! Make the detail with clay instead!

Then, build your food! Create 1 food item with ALL of your model magic packet.
