In this smART exercise, we are adding on to our ABCs of art knowledge and building a snowman that has a 3D effect with SHAPES. 3D simply adds height to length and width! The key to this project is to follow instructions carefully while adding creativity and details in the end.
Step 1 - With a pencil, trace 3 sized circles (Large, Medium, and Small) on white paper
Step 2 - Using a bright blue, grey, black, or purple crayon (cool colors!) trace the pencil outline leaving the inside circle white.
Step 3 -Cut out the 3 circles on the outside of the crayon line so you see the color on the circle.
Glue down the circles in order of large to small creating a top down 3D effect.
Add details with lines to create snow designs on the colored paper. Use only white or cool color crayons. You can also add a colored paper nose, scarf, arms, and black dots as desired!
