DINADAN :
Shame, I left my guitar at Lancelot’s.
I would’ve played a little tune for you to end the night!
PALAMEDES :
Tristan took it to Tintagel. That way, you’ll have a good reason to see each other again, hm?
DINADAN :
…
So they went back to Tintagel…
PALAMEDES :
Isn’t that what you wanted?
DINADAN :
…
[ sighs ]
PALAMEDES :
…
Are you sure you’re alright?
DINADAN :
Don’t I look alright to you?
I’d also like to point out Mordred looks happy to see me,
how touching…
MORDRED :
…You do look well.
DINADAN :
Mordred…
How beautiful it is to see your true feelings…
MORDRED :
Stop it!
GALAHAD :
So you and Tristan had a fight? Now that’s a story I want to hear!
DINADAN :
Eh, happens. It’s neither the first time nor the last. What I want to know is what you found in Corbenic.
GALAHAD :
Very well.
You told me the line of Benwick started on a certain year, didn’t you? Could it be…
…this one?
DINADAN :
It is!
PALAMEDES :
Wait, that’s…
the line of Corbenic?
GALAHAD :
And that’s not all.
Cornwall, Dalriada, Norgalis, Surgalis, Gaheviez, and so many others…
This all happened over a millenia ago, so the bloodlines may have changed,
but it looks like many kingdoms’ ruling families changed around the same time.
MORDRED :
What does that mean?
GALAHAD :
What I’m seeing is what ties Corbenic to those other kingdoms⎯
⎯the Grail.
With the Grail comes abundance, right?
If each of these new families gained access to said abundance, such wealth, then…
…they might have come to rule as a result.
So, I believe this date indicates
the year the Grail first came to Britain.
MORDRED :
That’s…somewhat of a leap in logic, isn’t it?
DINADAN :
No, this tracks.
Those creatures that appeared to protect the Grail…
The wraiths.
They’re members of those families, aren’t they?
GALAHAD :
I believe so, yes.
Given the ones we encountered, and those Merlin tracked down…
There are members of the royal family of Corbenic,
Dalriada,
and Benwick…
…and Lionel of Gaunes.
That would mean all of those families have blood ties to the Grail.
[ cut back to tintagel! ]
SERVANT :
Sir Tristan!
It’s Dame Iseult, she⎯
Wait, sir⎯
[ still running, tristan unsheathes his sword. ]
ISEULT :
Tristan.
You’re late again.
Isn’t she beautiful?
Take her, I’m exhausted.
TRISTAN :
…She’s so small…
PERCIVAL :
The druids said she came early.
But she seems healthy, and⎯
MARK :
…May I see her?
[ iseult nods. ]
MARK :
Iseult, my dear…
…you did an excellent job.
You can be proud of yourselves…
…both of you.
…
What are you going to name her?
ISEULT :
After my grandmother,
Isaye.
MARK :
Isaye of Cornwall.
[ back to this! yay! ]
GUINEVERE :
Arthur?
ARTHUR :
Guinevere, are you alright?
Did she hurt you?
GUINEVERE :
Who?
ARTHUR :
Morgan.
Where is she?
GUINEVERE :
Arthur, no!
I didn’t say you could come in.
ARTHUR :
…
I just want to make sure she didn’t⎯
?? :
Enough.
Did you not hear her Majesty?
LANCELOT :
You are not welcome here.
Go back to Camelot, Arthur.
