William H. & Mabel (Ives) Disinger
✞William H. Disinger passed away August 8, 2007. Born August 28, 1925, in Lockport, he was the son of Howard and Lydia Blessing Disinger. William worked as a supervisor at Harrison Radiator for 38 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the B.P.O.E., Screwball Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. William was predeceased by his wife, Hazel/Mabel Disinger in May 1998. William is survived by son, Daniel Disinger of Lockport. He was the brother of Frank (Marjori) Disinger, Rita (Donald) Diemert, both of Lockport and the late Donald E. Disinger. William is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday evening 7 to 9 PM and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
✞Mabel L. Disinger, 72, a retired title searcher, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at Lockport Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Born Dec. 26, 1925, in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Clarence D. and Marie (Queffelec) Ives. She was a title searcher at Ticor Title Insurance Co. of Lockport. Surviving are her husband, William H. Disinger; a son, Daniel Ives Disinger of Fort Wayne, Ind., a sister, Yvonne R. Tracy of Lockport; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Rita (Donald) Diemert and Frank A. (Marjorie) Disinger, all of Lockport. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
