✞LOCKPORT. N. Y., UNION-SUN & JOURNAL, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 1949 - Funeral Held For W. E. Disinger - Services for W. Elwin Disinger, 82, Royalton farmer, who died Sunday at his home in the Akron Road were held Wednesday at the Prudden Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St the Rev. Ivan L. Lange of the First English Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Dysinger. The bearers were three nephews Howard H., Ellis S., and Allan E Disinger and three friends Clifford Frartz, John Covell and Burt Jones. Mr. Disinger was born June 20, 1866, in the Town of Lockport son of Samuel and Nancy Disinger, and had farmed in the Akron Road all his life. Republican in politics, he was a former Republican county committeeman. He was a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau and Dairymen's League and for many years was president of the Dysinger Union Cemetery Association. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Brooks Disinger, a brother, James G. Disinger, one niece and three nephews.

She leaves four nieces and one nephew; Mrs. Iva Weber of Dover, N. J- Mrs. Inis Kinyon of Rochester, N. Y., Mrs. Josephine Brooks and Mrs. Alethe Gunby of Lockport, and Jay W. Brooks of Larchmont, N. Y. Friends may call Monday evening between 7 and 9 PM., Tuesday between 3 and 5 PM.; and 7 and 9 PM at Prudden Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, August 1st at two o'clock. Interment in Disinger Cemetery.
