Fellows and Rebekah Nursing Home, Friday, March 19, 1976. Husband of the late Lydia E Disinger Father of Mrs. Donald (Rita Diemert, Frank A., William H., all of Lockport and Donald E., Milford Mass.; stepfather of Mrs. Corneil (Ruth) Eaton, Gasport and Mrs. Evan (Eleanore) Mundie, Amherst. Also survived by 14 grand-children and two great-grand-children Friends may call this evening, and Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock, at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St., where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Emmanuel United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
✞Pearl Clark Disinger, wife of Howard H. Disinger, died Thursday evening, November 29, 1917. She is survived by her husband, one daughter Edith, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Clark, and one sister, Mrs. A. F. Raduns, all of the Town of Lockport. The funeral service will be held from the home of her parents on Beattie Avenue, Town of Lockport, on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Glenwood cemetery.
✞LOCKPORT, N. Y., UNION-SUN & JOURNAL, Saturday, January 19, 1957 - Mrs. H. H. Disinger, Once Dressmaker, Church Singer, Dies - Mrs. Howard H. Disinger, 790 Walnut St., died this morning (Jan.) 19, 1956) at her home after a three-year illness. She would have been 71 tomorrow. A native Buffalonian, she was the former Lydia E. Blessing, daughter of William and Pauline Buhler Blessing. When she was about 15, her family moved to Lockport. where she attended Lockport High School. She was formerly a dressmaker for Jenss. Brothers Store, and later worked privately. She sang in Lockport church choirs and as a soloist for about 40 years. Mrs. Disinger was married to Harry Dean, who died more than 40 years ago. Her second husband, Howard H. Disinger, survives.
She was a member of Myrtle Rebekah Lodge 84, Lockport and Pomona Granges, and Emmanuel, Methodist Church, and a former member of St. Peter's Evangelical & Reformed Church. Besides Mr. Disinger, surviving are four sons, Harry Dean, Frank, William, and Donald Disinger, all of Lockport; three daughters, Miss Ruth L. Dean, Mrs. Donald Diemert, both of Lockport; and Mrs. Evan Mundie, Tonawanda: two brothers, Louis Myers and William Blessing, both of Buffalo; a sister, Miss Irma Myers, Lockport; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be Monday afternoon at 2 in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., with Dr. Ernest E. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
