Nelson of Wilson, two grandchildren and three brothers, Howard H, and Allan E. Disinger of Lockport and Ellis S. Disinger of Chadron, Nebraska. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon. February 17th at two o'clock. Interment In Glenwood Cemetery.
✞LOCKPORT, N. Y., UNION-SUN & JOURNAL, Wednesday, February 14, 1962 - Mrs. E. L. Smith Dies At Mt. View - Mrs. Emilie L. Smith, 64, of 4814 Thrall Road, Town of Cambria, died at Mount View Hospital Tuesday, (Feb. 13, 1962) after a long illness. Born in the Town of Lockport, she was the daughter of Frank and Charlotte Richardson Disinger. Mrs. Smith was the widow of Richard H. Smith who died in 1960. She was a member of the Cambria Congregational Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank G. Nelson of Wilson: two grandchildren; three brothers, Howard H. and Allan E. Disinger of Lockport; and Ellis S. Disinger of Chadron, Nebr. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Walter Butt of the Cambria Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

The Reverend Walter Butt officiated. The bearers were William H., Frank A., Donald E., and John F. Disinger, Donald Diemert and Evan Mundie. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery.

(nee Disinger) Smith, one daughter, Mrs. Frank G. Nelson of Wilson, two granddaughters, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Moore of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Mrs. Rebecca Sutherland of Needles California. ✞Despite appeals for safe driving from every side, fatalities on the highway continued. During the week two names were added to the death toll, Richard H. Smith, 70, of Thrall Rd., Cambria, met death when his truck collided with a New York Central diesel on Lockport Junction crossing. John F. McDermott, 27, of Hornell, was fatally injured when his car crashed into a tree on a curve in Lewiston Rd. while he was returning to Niagara University.
