I am sorry, but I have a SUB today. I am going to IB training and will not be here 9/25 & 9/28. FIRST, today is a great day to get caught up on any missing work. I will list all assignments that need to be completed and should be posted to your portfolio. SECOND, TRAIN for the big race day on the Level 05 course. You will spend the entire class practicing for the upcoming drone race. Your goal is to improve your consistency, reduce your lap times, and find the camera angle that works best for you. If you get stuck on something, ask students for help. If you need help ask your neighbor and if they cannot help, the SUB has a list of students who can. Below are instructions for today's assignment that needs to be completed. ~Cornell

Intro to Drone Class: Practice Day
Drone: Tiny Trainer
Course: Level 05: Gates, Figure 8, and More Flags
Make sure you are practicing on the Level 05: Gates, Figure 8, and More Flags course, as this is the course we will use for the race.
Experiment with different camera angles.
Find the camera angle that gives you the best control and visibility.
Practice smooth, controlled flying.
Focus on reducing your lap times while maintaining accuracy.
Complete as many clean laps as possible.
By the end of class, you should:
Have selected your preferred camera angle.
Be comfortable flying the Level 05: Gates, Figure 8, and More Flags course.
Know your best lap time.
Be prepared for the upcoming race using the Tiny Trainer.
Fly smoothly and consistently.
Look ahead to the next obstacle, not just the one directly in front of you.
Use small, controlled stick movements.
If you crash, reset quickly and get back to practicing.
Identify the sections where you lose the most time and focus on improving them.
Remember: Smooth and consistent pilots are usually faster than pilots who try to fly aggressively. Focus on clean laps and steady improvement.
