To make something look like ice, we first need to change it to a Standard Surface material.
Right-click on the object.
Select Assign New Material.
Choose Standard Surface.
Once the Standard Surface material is assigned, we can begin adjusting the material settings to create the appearance of ice.
Now open the Material Attributes for your Standard Surface material.
Click Presets at the top of the Attribute Editor.
Scroll down and select Frosted Glass.
Choose Replace when prompted.
This will apply a frosted glass preset to the material, giving it a good starting point for creating the appearance of ice. From there, you can make additional adjustments to fine-tune the look.
I think it looks too blue . . .
In the Ice material settings, scroll down to Transmission Color and adjust the color slightly. Try removing a little of the blue tint to create a more natural-looking ice material.
Open the Material Attributes.
Scroll down to Transmission Color.
Click the color swatch.
Reduce the amount of blue until the ice looks more realistic.
Remember, real ice is often only slightly blue, so subtle changes usually produce the best results.
It should look something like this . . .
