Psalm 139:1

O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

ᏱᎰᏩ, ᏂᎯ ᏍᎩᎪᎵᏰᎥᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏍᎩᎦᏙᎥᏒᎯ.

yihowa, nihi sgigoliyevhi, ale sgigadovsvhi.

O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

ᏂᎯ ᎯᎦᏔᎭ ᏥᎥᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎦᎴᎥᏍᎬᎢ; ᎢᏅᎯᏳ ᏔᏙᎴᎰᏍᎪ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎦᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ.

nihi higataha tsivsgvi, ale degalevsgvi; invhiyu tadolehosgo nusdv gadanvtesgvi.

Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

ᎯᏌᏰᎶᎪ ᎠᏇᏓᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎦᏂᏏᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎦᏔᎯᏳ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏓᎩᏅᏅᎢ,

hisayelogo aquedasdiyi ale ganisihvsgvi, ale higatahiyu nigav daginvnvi,

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.

ᎥᏝᏰᏃ ᏌᏉ ᎢᎧᏁᏨᎯ ᏥᏃᎪ ᏯᏓᎴᎲᏍᎪᎢ, ᎠᏎ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎯᎦᏔᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ.

vtlayeno saquo ikanetsvhi tsinogo yadalehvsgoi, ase gvniyuquo, yihowa, higataha nasgi nigadiyu.

Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

ᏂᎯ ᏍᏆᎵᏍᏚᏔᏅ ᎣᏂᏗᏢ ᎠᎴ ᎢᎬᏱᏗᏢ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏍᏆᏏᏔᏛ.

nihi squalisdutanv oniditlv ale igvyiditlv, ale isquasitadv.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏥᏄᏍᏗ ᎠᎦᏙᎥᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎩᎶᏒᏍᏓᏁᎭ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎦᎸᎳᏗᏳᏉ, ᎥᏝᏰᎵ ᏫᏴᎦᏥᎷᎩ.

nasgi hia tsinusdi agadovhisdi gesv agilosvsdaneha usquanigodiyu gesvi; galvladiyuquo, vtlayeli wiyvgatsilugi.

hither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

ᎭᏢ ᏮᏓᏥᎶᏏ ᏓᏥᏯᏓᏅᎡᎵ ᏣᏓᏅᏙ? ᎭᏢᎨ ᏮᏓᏥᎶᏏ ᏓᏥᏯᎵᏗᎡᎵ ᏣᎧᏛᎢ.

hatlWhither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

ᎭᏢ [ᎦᏨ] ᏮᏓᏥᎶᏏ ᏓᏥᏯᏓᏅᎡᎵ ᏣᏓᏅᏙ? ᎭᏢᎨ ᏮᏓᏥᎶᏏ ᏓᏥᏯᎵᏗᎡᎵ ᏣᎧᏛᎢ.

hatlv wvdatsilosi datsiyadanveli tsadanvdo? hatlvge wvdatsilosi datsiyalidieli tsakadvi.

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

ᎢᏳᏃ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏫᏱᎾᏆᏛᏁᏔᏅ, ᏀᎾ ᎮᏙᎭ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᏨᏍᎩᏃ ᎠqᎠᏂᏏᏗᏱ ᏱᎾᏋᏁᎸ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᏀᎾ ᎮᏙᎭ.

iyuno galvladi wiyinaquadvnetanv, nahna hedoha; iyuno tsvsgino aqanisidiyi yinaquvnelv, gvniyuquo nahna hedoha.

If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

ᎢᏳᏃ ᎢᎦ ᏚᎸᏌᏛ ᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏕᏅ, ᎠᎺᏉᎯᏃ ᏫᏚᎵᏍᏘᏂᎸ ᏱᏩᏆᏕᏅ,

iyuno iga dulvsadv sgisdawadenv, amequohino widulistinilv yiwaquadenv,

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

ᏀᎾ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏦᏰᏂ ᏱᎠᏆᏘᏂᏙᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎦᏘᏏ ᏦᏰᏂ ᏱᎠᏆᏘᏂᏙᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎦᏘᏏ ᏦᏰᏂ ᏱᏙᏍᎩᏂᏴᏗ.

nahna nasquo tsoyeni yiaquatinidoha, ale higatisi tsoyeni yiaquatinidoha, ale higatisi tsoyeni yidosginiyvdi.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

ᎢᏳ ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏱᎾᎩᏪᏒ, ᎠᏎ ᎤᎵᏏᎩ ᏛᏊᏢᏂ; ᎾᏍᏉ ᏒᏃᏱ ᎢᎦᎯᏳ ᏱᎩ ᎨᏙᎲᎢ.

iyu ale hia yinagiwesv, ase ulisigi dvquutlvni; nasquo svnoyi igahiyu yigi gedohvi.

Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

ᎥᎥ, ᎤᎵᏏᎩ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏣᎵᏏᎲᏍᏓᏁᎭ; ᏒᏃᏱᏍᎩᏂ ᏚᎸᏌᏓ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎢᎦ ᏥᏚᎸᏌᏙᎢ; ᎤᎵᏏᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎢᎦᎦᏘ ᎤᏠᏱᏉ ᏗᏣᎧᏃᏗᏱ.

vv, ulisigi vtla yitsalisihvsdaneha; svnoyisgini dulvsada nasgiya iga tsidulvsadoi; ulisigi ale igagati utloyiquo ditsakanodiyi.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

ᏂᎯ ᏦᏢᏅᎯ ᎠᎩᎾᏫ; ᏂᎯ ᏍᏊᏢᏅᎩ ᎡᏥ ᎤᏍᏉᎵᏱ.

nihi tsotlvnvhi aginawi; nihi squutlvnvgi etsi usquoliyi.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

ᏓᎬᎸᏉᏔᏂ ᏂᎯ, ᎤᎾᏰᎯᏍᏗᏳᏰᏃ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗᏳ ᎾᏆᏍᏗ ᎠᏆᏙᏢᏒᎢ; ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗᏳ ᏗᏣᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎣᏏᏳ ᎠgᏔh ᎠᏆᏓᏅᏙ.

dagvlvquotani nihi, unayehisdiyuyeno ale usquanigodiyu naquasdi aquadotlvsvi; usquanigodiyu ditsalvwisdanedi gesvi; nasgi nusdv osiyu agtah aquadanvdo.

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

ᏥᏰᎸ ᎥᏝ ᏰᏨᎦᎳᏁᎴᎢ, ᏀᎢᏳ ᎤᏕᎵᏒ ᎠᏆᏚᏴᏅ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᏅᏋᏁᎸ ᎥᏉᏢᏅ ᎡᎳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏙᎯ.

tsiyelv vtla yetsvgalanelei, nahiyu udelisv aquaduyvnv, ale usquanigodi nvquvnelv vquotlvnv eladi gesv dadohi.

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

ᎯᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨ ᎦᏚᏴᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏣᏤᎵᎪᎯ ᎪᏪᎵᎯ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᏪᎸᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᎵᏰᎢᎵᏒ ᎤᏙᏢᏁᎢ, ᏀᎢᏳ ᎠᏏ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏄᏙᏢᏒᎾ ᎨᏎᎢ.

higowatisge gaduyvhvsgvi, ale tsatseligohi gowelihi nigav gowelvgi, nasgino aliyeilisv udotlvnei, nahiyu asi gohusdi nudotlvsvna gesei.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

ᏂᎦᎥ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᎩᏰᎸᎭ ᏂᎯ ᎭᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬ ᏣᏁᎳᏅᎯ! ᏄᏧᏈᏍᏗ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᎭ ᏂᏓᏛ ᏗᏎᎰᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ!

nigav nasquo galvquodiyu agiyelvha nihi hadanvtesgv tsanelanvhi! nutsuquisdi nigalisdiha nidadv disehonvhi gesvi!

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

ᎢᏳᏃ ᏱᏓᏆᏎᎸ ᎤᏟ ᏂᎦᎦ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᏃᏳ ᏂᎦᎥᎢ; ᏥᏰᎩᏃ ᎩᎳᎯ ᏂᎯ ᎢᏁᏙᎭ.

iyuno yidaquaselv utli nigaga esgaquo noyu nigavi; tsiyegino gilahi nihi inedoha.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

ᏣᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᏎ ᏘᎵ ᎠᏍᎦᎾᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏍᎩᏯᏓᏅᏏ ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏯ ᎢᏥᎩᎬᎭᎢ.

tsanelanvhi ase tili asganai; nasgino iyusdi sgiyadanvsi itsisgaya itsigigvhai.

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

ᎨᏣᏁᎢᏍᏗᏍᎬᏰᏃ ᎤᏲ ᎠᏂᏬᏂᎭ, ᎨᏣᏍᎦᎩᏃ ᎠᏎᏉ ᎠᏂᏁᎢᏍᏗᎭ ᏕᏣᏙᎥᎢ.

getsaneisdisgvyeno uyo aniwoniha, getsasgagino asequo anineisdiha detsadovi.

Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

ᏱᎰᏩ, ᏝᏍᎪ ᏱᎦᏥᏍᎦᎦ ᏂᎯ ᎨᏣᏍᎦᎩ? ᎠᎴ ᏝᏍᎪ ᎤᏲ ᏯᏆᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏗᎭ ᎦᏥᏯᏓᏅᏛᏗ ᏗᎨᏣᎦᏘᎴᎩ ᏥᎩ?

yihowa, tlasgo yigatsisgaga nihi getsasgagi? ale tlasgo uyo yaquadanvdadisdiha gatsiyadanvdvdi digetsagatilegi tsigi?

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎦᏥᏂᏆᏘᎭ; ᎬᎩᏍᏕᎩ ᎦᏥᏰᎸᎠ.

utsatanvhi gatsiniquatiha; gvgisdegi gatsiyelva.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

ᏍᎩᎪᎵᏯ, ᏣᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎭᏙᎴᎰᎯ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎠᎩᎾᏫ; ᏍᏆᎦᏔ ᎠᎴ ᎭᏙᎴᎰᎢ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎦᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ;

sgigoliya, tsanelanvhi, ale hadolehohi nusdv aginawi; squagata ale hadolehoi nusdv gadanvtesgvi;

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
