Finding access to laptops and other technology is a need for every college student, regardless of their major. Despite your classes' mode of instruction, students often use technology to complete work, and most professors demand that students have some form of technology to complete online assignments, projects, exams, and more.

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) Office of Student Services offers enrolled students the opportunity to borrow a Chromebook, or any laptop for emergency use for up to a month. Only a valid CUNY ID is required for verification. In general, CUNY students can loan technology from CUNY without any fees.

To access a laptop, you can speak to your advisor because every CUNY school has a different form you have to fill out to request a device.
