Most, if not, every college in the U.S. has an Office of Accessibility, providing students with services and/or resources that meet their needs
More specifically, the Office of Accessibility at your school collaborates and empowers students with disabilities by coordinating support services, accommodations, and programs to ensure equitable access to higher education and beyond
Every CUNY school has an Office of AccessABILITY
Think of the Office of AccessABILITY as an insurance plan. Some campuses require that you are registered with the Office of AccessABILITY prior to registering for classes (especially if you require testing accommodations and other services). To register for the Office of AccessABILITY, please complete the necessary forms your campus requires, along with documentation that supports your request for accommodations
Just like CUNY, all SUNY campuses have an Office of Accessibility. The contact informaton and Instructions to register with the Office of Accessibility at your SUNY-specific campus can be found below
