My name is Allison Ospina (she/her). I was born and raised in Queens, New York City, with a Colombian background and nationality. I speak Spanish and English fluently, and live with both of my parents, and a younger brother currently in high school.
I graduated Energy Tech High School in 2020, and later graduated from their ECI program with my Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in June 2022 through LaGuardia Community College.
I then transferred to Hunter College to pursue a career in teaching! As of now, I am a Mathematics Adolescent Education major to become a high school math teacher. I expect to graduate with my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mathematics Education by June 2025.
I have always been interested in the field of Education and teaching–especially mathematics–and I truly look forward to a career in teaching it as it has always been my desire to do so!
I like to watch movies, TV shows, listen to music, and play video games! I love TV shows from Nickelodeon as I grew up watching SpongeBob, iCarly, Victorious, and other 2000s shows. I play video games like Fortnite, Left 4 Dead, the Sims 4, and more. I also enjoy watching anime such as Demon Slayer (my favorite), Attack on Titan, Naruto, My Hero Academia, etc.
I am flexible, so if you need to meet any time during Monday through Friday, I can accommodate you accordingly. Simply email or text me with more information, and complete this form so that I can better-assist you.
