College & Career Bridge for All (CCB4A) is a program that works with the NYCDOE and CUNY to increase postsecondary enrollment by hiring and training college students to provide meaningful advising to graduating seniors through the postsecondary planning, financial aid, and matriculation processes
In 2020, we scaled our program to ensure that all students in the NYCDOE graduating class have access to a near-peer Bridge Coach to support them on their postsecondary journey
As a city-wide program, we serve more than 50,000 students annually as they graduate from the NYCDOE. Essentially, a Bridge Coach is a trained college student who helps students with the matriculation process from high school to college, or designated career-pathway

55,000 students in the NYCDOE graduating class received weekly outreach and meaningful support.
Students who engaged with their coach enrolled in Fall 2022 at a rate 9% higher than students who did not; in our Spring 2021 Winter Bridge program, it was 18% higher
Your assigned Bridge Coach will work from June to August 23rd, sending weekly outreach emails and texts in an attempt to connect with you and learn more about your post-secondary plans
As an extension, Bridge Coaches are able to work in the Winter with students who were unable to enroll in college or career pathway in the Fall, to successfully enroll in the Spring instead.
While we do encourage you to stay in the program and learn more about the resources that your Bridge Coach may assist you with, if you (the student) would like to opt out of the CCB4A program, please request this option to your assigned Bridge Coach so that they can complete a Student Opt-Out form and remove you from their caseload.
As always, College and Career Bridge for All (the program I work under) wants to learn about how to better-support students like yourselves.
I would appreciate it if you could take the time to complete this feedback form, which will take no longer than two minutes. Your responses help improve this program and help us better-support the students that will graduate next year (which could be you if you are reassigned for our Winter Bridge extension, or someone you might know)!
