I am a lamp. I spend my days on the nightstand in my owners room. My place is cozy, I am placed between her favorite chair and her bed. I have a view of the entirety of the room so I find many things to focus on when bored and my mind wanders. But that is only when I am awake. I sleep for most of the day and night as my owner is not afraid of the dark. Even though I sleep more than not, my owner appreciates my time awake. My owner says I am pretty and I am able to bring the right mood light that she wants. My favorite part of the day is when I am dusted and clean as I am able to see and shone clearly. The only thing that gets on my cords is my owners cat, pesky little thing. The cat always finds a way to turn me around while asleep, when my owner awakes me she has to turn me from facing the wall. Not only does he move me but he tries to bite my face. He can do no harm as I am tougher than him and his teeth but the annoyance of being bothered and toyed with is ever lasting.
