Thanks to Argo for compiling :)
Gimp and Inkscape are basically open source versions of photoshop and illustrator that basically copy all the functionality of those apps. Its something you can have permanently on your laptops. They may not look as corporate or operate quite as smoothly but they are free and definitely capable!

So, Photopea is basically just a free version of photoshop that lives in your web browser (you don't have to download it or make an account). I've been using it for a couple years since I started editing pictures for fun. It's a good backup if you can't get photoshop to work; & if you have any questions, i can probably answer them. Also you can use it in like.. the safari browser on your mobile device.

Picsart is a mobile photo editor that just has a lot of simple tools and like... fun things tbh. I mess around with it a lot but.. again, if you can't access photoshop, it can function similarly. ... Or if you just want to play around with your instagram photos; it's up to you <3
-Argo again :3
Phonto is just a pretty easy app for adding text onto images. While you can do this with like... 99% of photo editing apps, you can actually upload fonts you've downloaded from the internet onto Phonto, which is massively helpful if you're on a mobile device and can't get photopea's text tool to cooperate with your stubby little human fingers.
