You will present more information about one of the artists from ART21.
Create a Google Presentation (using your GVSU Google account), PowerPoint, Keynote, or some other slideshow, about the artist you chose. Show us work by the artist, including work not shown in Art21, and talk about the work and the artist. Plan to take about 10 minutes. For photos of artworks, always include the title, and year, as well as the author (if not already implied by context). Images of non-artworks should indicate their source in a caption. Avoid repeating artists if possible– it does not have to be an artist we have discussed in class.
A few questions you will need to answer:
Where is the artist from? What about their early life has led them to their current work?What materials does the artist primarily engage with? How, and why?What issues does this artist explore that are relevant and pertinent to modern life?Has anything about the artists’ work personally struck you? Why or why not?
