honestly idk what the meaning of our project is. It's a lot of bears sewn so that they are always holding hands with each other (unless the fishing wire breaks... which totally didn't happen or anything haha) We just thought it would be a cute idea, so we went for it.
it might be kinda hard to read but I tried my best. here's the file if u give up trying to read it my image carousels.

my fave:
Rat-King by Katharina Fritsch
🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀👑
she works with lots of colorful objects (mostly plastic, because it's cheap, everywhere, + comes in lots of colors)
she also makes her own neon-colored paper
she makes large arrangements of colorful plastic + other everyday items (cords, lightbulbs, coolers)
transforms burned down homes in Detriot by restoring them and making them multi-functional (put on a pivot to reveal the basement)
also made a video game called Knowmad that explores different tribal rugs from around the world
the patterns come alive and make an obstacle course that you have to get through
project statement:
i am (attempting) to make a short animation of a little girl using the leap reader pen and getting jumpscared by demonic voices coming from the pen
this is b/c when i was little my leapreader pen ran low on battery and started speaking in tongues which scared the shit out of 5 yr old me and scarred me for life forever
what if dinosaurs were on the ark
this is about how garfield is being reclaimed by the internet and turned from capitalistic unfunny cat to grassroots indie icon.
Tillie Walden is a 26-year-old comic artist who has published 6 graphic novels, a picture book, and a webcomic. At 22 years old she became one of the youngest people to win an Eisner Award, which is widely recognized as the comic industry’s equivalent to the Academy Awards. Her comics usually feature girls and explore themes of queerness and identity. She worked on a comic for Girl In Red and most recently published Clementine, a series that takes place in the Walking Dead universe. She's very cool please check her out :,)
Kim Jung Gi is a man from South Korea known for drawing hyper-detailed pen drawings without sketching anything.
(they are really massive drawings!!)
He got his start in comics but once his talent caught the attention of others he started drawing live in front of people. Videos of his live drawings were published on YouTube and he started getting worldwide recognition. For the past 10 years, he has been doing live drawing events in different countries such as America, France, and Japan. He has also had 12 years' worth of his sketchbooks published and multiple exhibitions in places such as Paris, LA, and Seoul.
Seriously. This guy is insane.

I sit on a kitchen counter all day and occasionally slice bagels in half. I’ve only been out of the box for a few days now, but it’s a pretty easy job. The only bad part is when the people let the dogs out. The dogs are sooooo annoying. They like to stand on their hind legs and scratch stuff off the counter. They almost got me. It's a miracle I'm still alive.
I got my pictures from randompicturegenerator.com
I am concerned about whoever made the eye picture 😬
hi! im visiting your little corner!!
i really like jealous bear. i think that the sort of humanity of a stuffed animal along with the almost innuendo of its pose really work with the warm palette to successfully convey a jealous sort of air to the piece. i also like that the sheets and wall are white and really absorb the light; it makes the photo very easy to look at. the composition with the word in the top corner successfully drives your vision to the bear's face (because we read left to right, his face is a natural stopping point for the eye making for a fluid composition, i think) where his vacant, pleasant expression is juxtaposed nicely with the idea of jealousy. it makes for a fun contrast and an overall successful and cohesive piece.
Hey Abby! I love all of your images and think that a viewer could place meaning of the word with the picture, I would be interested to see what other people first think of when they see the words with your images! My favorite is the top image with the bear, It is very obvious that the bear has an abundance of confidence and knows that anyone and everyone should be jealous of him. -Kennedy
