I like the photographs you pick because they make me feel calm and peaceful when I look at them. Although I'm not sure if the fond you chose was on purpose, I believe it complements the calm of the images. However, I'd want to see what would happen if you were to experiment with other fonds. Inanimate object: “You know what? My life is pretty boring. All I do is sit on a flat surface until someone decides to turn on the TV, then I get to do my job. They push my buttons and annoy me, and when I don’t work right I have to go through surgery to replace my batteries so I am back in working order. Sometimes I get lost between cushions or get misplaced, and let me tell you, it is a dark and scary world out there, I’d much rather just stay on my flat surface aka best friend called the coffee table any day, sincerely, the TV remote.”
Five Random Words: cup, bulb, promise, suggestion, boil
There was a mouse that lived by himself and his tea was always too cold, but one day he hollowed his friends suggestion, as he promised he would try it. He put his cup of tea in the microwave and watched as the bulb lit up so he can wait and watch til his tea boiled.
As a child, I remember always seeing a swear or bad word jar in movies and while at school. Even when you said something negative, not necessarily bad, you had to put money or a chip into the jar. I decided to do something like this but with a twist. I decided to take a bottle, and fill it with compliments. I wanted it to appear as though the bottle was spilling out of the bottle.
Art21 Artist: Louise Bourgeois has been an active artist since the 1940s. In this Art21 video, we learn about her hand sculptures made of black stone. We learn that there are some to represent children's hands, and others meant to represent adult hands. We also learn that it is to show that they are not afraid to show helplessness, how we work together and how we should not be afraid or ashamed of feeling helpless. They also represent an invitation to friendliness.

Other Installations I found that I enjoyed!
Yarn
When making this project, we were thinking how stressed out students can be. How they could want an area that is both comfortable and colorful that also gives the students some privacy. We decided to finger knit a lot of yarn of all different colors and weights to give it a fun, colorful, relaxing vibe. We then made almost like a curtain over one of the areas that students sit at to work. It gave them more privacy and something to enjoy while working. I really enjoyed thi project and I think I will continue to finger knit in the future.
Booklet Project
I transferred to GVSU in the Winter semester. I am majoring in studio art with a graphic design emphasis. I love nature, animals, and art. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, and being crafty. I am looking forward to this semester!
